| BUGS MAGNUM is a 5 year
old mare. Her height is 15.1 and chestnut in color. This beauty has
an unbelievable bloodline. She is the granddaughter of Bugs Alive In
75 on the sire’s side and the great granddaughter of Special Effort
on the dam’s side. Special Effort is the only quarter horse to win
the quarter mile triple crown. Going back to her ancestry, she has 3
Bars top and bottom, Go Man Go, Top Deck, Jet Deck and lineage back
to Man O War & Seabiscuit. This elite barrel horse lives up to her
heritage, as she is an amazing runner. She started professionally on barrels in Tennessee where her trainer told me she can “suck the paint off the barrels.” She was finished in Missouri using the barrel racing techniques of Charmayne James. While running barrels, due to her hard turns and explosive power coming out of the barrels, she needs to be ridden by an experienced rider. When she is not running barrels, she has a composed disposition. She will do figure 8s, lead changes and stops and backs with no problem. She works great on ground work, lifts and holds her feet (doesn’t lean), leg commands, verbal commands, hauls and ties great. She has impressive potential for a serious barrel racer.
